Ossus

Ossus was once a world teeming with life and was a rugged lush world with two-thirds of it being covered in water. This was until a cataclysm happened which ravaged the world making it an irradiated desert world. Over time Ossus began to grow with life again making it lush with vegetation and being inhabited by wildlife. It again went through a change when the Yuuzhan Vong Shapers used their terraforming technology on the planet causing it to become fully reversed from the cataclysm and teem with life once more.

There were many things on Ossus before the cataclysm like there was cities all across the planet the capitol being Knossa. There was also a Jedi academy on the planet and so this was a popular planet for Jedi to visit also because the Jedi had stored the sum of their knowledge here. The main inhabitants of Ossus are the Ysanna a species of humans of force sensitives who had survived the cataclysm. Now with the planet teeming with life again things can finally get moving once more and cities can be rebuilt. There is much potential here on Ossus and who knows what the future has in store for it.

*The battle had calmed down five hours ago and the Imperial forces were making good use of the time. Captain Regan looked at a layout of the planet displayed by a holo layout over a table. Even with Firebird Fleet gone there was now a even bigger presence in orbit. They received few messages form HQ, Regan was disgusted to hear that the capital fell. The captain was able to keep the troops rallied and focus on getting revenge over sulking. He ordered for crews to look over the walkers and ray shields. They needed to work perfectly in orbit for them to be able to hold their position. Yet, the imperials had no idea as to how the GA would strike back.*

*It had been many hours now since Forge had dropped off his troops and and they had set up base. Everything was up and running now along with weapons and a shield generator so they were ready for just about anything. They still had scouts out watching the Empire and so far they hadn't made a move so all was still good. Though from what other back at the Garrison Base were hearing wasn't so good. Apparently the Empire had taken Ossus and they had lost which was odd since they were still here in a sizable force and they still owned the orbit with their fleet.

Most Troopers were cracking jokes on the senate for getting such a thing wrong like that besides even if they felt that their army had lost the troopers would still fight until they thought everything was lost. For now they had plans to make as they all had heard about the two walkers that had made it to the surface. This was their biggest issue since for now they didn't care about their stupid ray shields since they could deal with that in time. What they really needed to figure out was how to take those damn walkers down which would cripple their military power at least mostly.

To them that was such an Imperial thing to do send their biggest and baddest weapon in like its a super weapon and that no one can beat it. Well it looked like they would just have to show them what they could do. So all the commanders met in the meeting room of the base and began to making plans with the images the scouts were sending them. Thanks to Forge they had a good sizable force here on planet and so they didn't have to fear about being out numbered. they also had all the weapons any of the troops could dream of like tanks, walkers, airspeeders, speederbikes and their favorite gunships. Yes if anything they could hit the the Imperials hard but those walkers could deal with most of these things so they would have to work with what they had to take those down first.*
