Mandalore was the fifth planet in the Mandalore system of the Outer Rim Territories, not far from the Hydian Way trade route. The homeworld of the multi-species cultural group known as the Mandalorians, the planet was known as Manda'yaim in the Mandalorian language, and was named after the legendary conqueror of the vibrant world, Mandalore the First. Mandalore the First's Taung warriors slew the indigenous mythosaurs and tamed the savage landscape, solidifying Mandalore's place as a powerbase and the center of Mandalorian space for millennia to come. Mandalore was covered in a rich natural landscape, largely unspoiled due to its sparse sentient population. The world was blanketed in lush veshok tree forests, dense jungle, sprawling hills and grassland well suited to farming, inhospitable deserts of white sand, and numerous rivers, lakes, and seas. It was also the only known world in the galaxy, with the exception of it's moon Concordia, to possess the unique, nearly indestructible iron ore known as beskar, an element capable of withstanding blows from even a lightsaber.

An independent world ruled by the Mand'alor—the leader of all the Mandalorian clans, following the tradition established by Mandalore the First—the planet Mandalore found itself the ally and enemy of numerous galactic governments and groups throughout the years. Though largely abandoned by the early Mandalorian Crusaders, who continuously sought fresh conquests, Mandalore became the fallback point for many defeated Mandalorian Neo-Crusader warriors after the end of the Mandalorian Wars. With the rise of the pacifist New Mandalorian faction and their efforts to reform Mandalore's warrior ways, distancing themselves from the violent past after the disastrous events that lead to their formation, Mandalore was accepted by the Galactic Republic and was known as New Mandalore throughout the isolationist society that the New Mandalorians created. When Mandalore the Resurrector came to power, the planet broke from the Republic and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the oppressive Coruscant regime, only to come under the heel of the Galactic Empire following the end of the Clone Wars. With the fall of the Empire, Mandalore began a steady period of recovery up until the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of the galaxy, and the devastation the extragalactic invaders wrought on Mandalore. The resilient world did not yield to the Vong's attempt at destruction, however, and by the Second Galactic Civil War, Mandalore was in the midst of a prosperous resurgence brought on by the discovery of fresh lodes of beskar iron that had been exposed during the Yuuzhan Vong attack

*The Dragon Striker suddenly appears out of hyperspace and begins to fly towards Mandalore. As the ship flew closer Rhayth began to flick some more switches and checked to make sure that he was sending out the Jedi codes claiming they were a neutral party and weren't here to cause trouble. Once that was done he continued on heading down towards the planet and the capitol city.*

*Home Bound Fleet enters orbit. On board the Bright Star was a task force of Jedi and Commandos for the use of storming the imperial capital. The three massive Starships were prepping for that one last jump into imperial space where they would hopefully end this war.*

Ships from all Mandalorian Clans jump into Mandalorian space. When they all came in, it was less impressive than Jaccien would have hoped. But this was not the Clan leaders fault, a time of stagnation came upon the Mandalorians not to long ago and the Clans fell into it just as well. None the less there was one Keldabe Battleship and some fighters from each Clan.

Finally after receiving the order the ship starts to move, and then soon they reach hyperspace, heading for Kashyyyk.

The three other Keldabe Class Battleships are finished, and form up in orbit along with 2 Acclamator II-Class Assault Ships. More MAAT's have been bought from foreign companies and brought into Mandalores orbit.

After forming up the 50 MAAT's move up and down from the surface moving 6,000 Mandalorian Warriors to the Acclamators II. This is now the new Mandalorian Assault fleet.

All of these builds and purchases have almost bankrupted the Mandalorian treasury, and Jaccien was well aware of this. His goods that he would bring back from Bastion would help, and after this next attack his people would be well off.

*From out in orbit a Hammerhead-Class cruiser exited hyperspace and slowly drifted towards the planet of Mandalore. It clearly had the markings of the Blood Dragon pirates painted onto the sides of the ship making it known to all who they were. Today though they had actually came in peace and so all weapons were powered down and no hostile actions were taken. From orbit the ship opened a com channel with the capitol hoping to speak with the mand'alor.*

::Greetings mandalorians though this may be a rare sight indeed but we come in peace and wish to speak with your leader. Our captain and leader of all the Blood Dragons wishes to make a deal with the mandalorians one that might interest the mand'alor.::

All Mandalorian ships that could be connected to come flooding back to Mandalore, Jaccien felt something big was coming so he ordered all of his Admirals and Generals back to the place of his Ancestors.

Jaccien gives an order to his Admirals and Captains in space. It seemed that the day they had been dreading has come, and unfortunately they are outnumbered and out gunned. This would be a hard battle.

With that the fleet forms up in a spear head once again, with the Keldabes on the top row and the Keldabes on the bottom row. They slowly move towards the Imperial fleet while half of the MAAT's head towards the surface.

*Shuttles head down towards the planet. The massive shuttles are carrying 75,000 stormtroopers. They settle down and disembark awaiting the Jedi lead to charge on the Mando capital. They were under strict rules to follow the Jedi orders, which many of them were not wanting to do. Yet, they were loyal and would do as ordered.*

Up in space the ships that Jaccien had ordered to attack the Imperials were taking heavy fire. They moved a little closer and then decided it was prime time to assault.

The ships open up full armament with all their MAAT's and K-12's heading at the Impies ships firing on all cylinders.

"Heavy to the say the least, we are basically fighting the whole population of this planet on top of the ME army. Soon however we hope to have bombing runs ready."

*As he spoke the stormtroopers began to mobilize. Some got into the walkers, some began to scout on speeders yet most stood awaiting the command to strike.*

*Meanwhile, in orbit the 21 squads of K-wing assault starfighters lead the attack in orbit. They were heading towards the Keldabe Class Battleships and went to work on the shields. All other fighters and capital ships gave support fire keeping off enemy starfighters so the K-wings could make a swift assault.*

" Commander, use our speeder bikes to recon the cities perimeter defenses. Once we find the weakest point of entry, that will be where we mark our bombing run. The second after those bombs clear open a path, i want our most mobile troops to make a spear head into the city. From that point we can reinforce and make our push for the city center."

* Thrakk uses his electrobinoculars to survey Keldabe before his gives the last of his commands *

" This will be close quarters urban fighting....use their own structures against them if you must. Keep up continuous bombing and artillery as a shield until all of our forces are in place...then walk up the air and artillery attacks and the troops will follow it in. Make 2 points of entrance if you can commander....and remember once we are inside My men and I are going after the Mandalore it will be up to you to continue that assault "
